always forgive your enemies, nothing annoys them more.

This quote applies to do much in my life right now. Oscar Wilde; how did you become so wise eh?

Like I said, I went to the big apple. Literally got back this morning so I'm suffering from serious jet lag and I have a hysterical cold that's confined me to my bed... unfortunately this does mean that my plans for todays blogs are ruined. I need to venture downstairs to the scanner and I'm too ill for all that physical exertion so I have adapted as all good writers do and have decided to blog about something that's been puzzling my mind my whole holiday.

All girls, in my opinion, should have a fashion icon.  There's so many people I admire within fashions critical eye; Blake Lively for one. Kate Moss is a given really. Sarah Jessica Parker another obvious symbol of fashion.  However, I'm completely torn between my two favourites.
Hayley Williams and Audrey Tatou. Both completely opposite in their styles yet both impress me with every outfit choice, every risk, every look they create.

The thing is, I think it's because I'm in awe of both of them that my wardrobe has split personality syndrome.  No matter where I'm going (whether it's on a night out, to the shops, a party, roast dinner at my nan's etc) I am torn between my want to emulate Hayley Williams' rock chick, thrown together, so cool I don't care look and my desire to imitate Audrey Tatou's classy sophistication and original femme fatale manner. I'm genuinely not too sure which image I portray best, but I don't care. I'm in love with both of these women for their individual flair that are both so different but both so desirable, by me anyway. The point is, in any one week I could be wearing an oversized, vintage band tee paired with wet look leggings and lace up biker boots, and the next day be seen in a chiffon blouse with a fitted skirt topped off with my mother's pearl necklace.
But what the hell, I enjoy switching between styles as often as the wind changes.  It keeps people on their toes ;)

Pour Maintenant, Au Revoir.
Tout Mon Amour,
Neen x
